Mr. Kearney has been supporting complex document managed review and legal staffing projects for more than 25 years. Prior to joining CertaTech, he was a senior manager for two of the industry’s leading e-discovery providers, a reflection of with intense focus on customer service and satisfaction. Prior to becoming an e-discovery and managed review services provider. Mr. Kearney was a Senior Manager at Arnold & Porter LLP, where he oversaw the administration of the firm’s contract attorneys, as well as the paralegal and law clerk programs. Before joining Arnold & Porter, he was a litigation paralegal at AmLaw 100 firms, supporting numerous large-scale document collections and reviews.
David LindleySenior Managing Director
David Lindley is a Senior Managing Director of forensics, system analysis and project management. He leverages his more than 30 years of project management experience to ensure client projects achieve the best possible outcome. Mr. Lindley’s in-depth knowledge of systems, software, hardware, and network infrastructure implementations affords clients optimal process design and implementation when it comes to solving some of the biggest business challenges around. Prior to joining CertaTech, Mr. Lindley was the datacenter and office move project manager for a top law firm founded in Chicago and now with more than 400 attorneys and 16 offices nationwide. He architected and implemented on of the largest Virtual Datacenters on Azure for a large nationwide Accounting firm. Prior to that he spent more than 9 years working for the country’s largest public utility company, handling electronic records management implementation, integration and regulatory compliance work.
Richard LucasSenior Managing Director
Mr. Lucas is a Senior Managing Director of consulting services. Mr. Lucas has more than 22 years of experience in consulting and professional services. He works directly with clients to provide innovative solutions designed to help general counsel and law departments make optimal use of their data, ensure compliance, increase productivity, and exercise control over their legal spend. Prior to joining CertaTech, Mr. Lucas was a senior legal project manager at AMLAW 100 firm McDermott Will & Emery for eleven years. While at the firm, Mr. Lucas directed attorneys on the delivery of legal services on client engagements by developing and employing efficient project pricing analyses, project work processes, leveraging IT tools, and employing effective project management techniques. He also provided firm-wide support in the areas of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures/spins, tax planning and controversy, state and local, corporate due diligence, eDiscovery, commercial contract reviews, national coordinating counsel support, litigation support, intellectual property patent database analysis, health, employee benefits. Prior to his tenure at the firm, he was a managing consultant/principal at IBM where he specialized in solving complex business problems and improving business process and operations.
Aaron MasseyManaging Director
Mr. Massey is a managing director with more than 25 years of experience as an electronic discovery and document management consultant. He has assisted legal, corporate and governmental clients in numerous electronic discovery litigations, corporate due diligence for M&A activities and calculating sales & revenue totals for financial damages assessments. His electronic discovery professional experience includes advising on strategy and developing document and data solutions throughout the EDRM lifecycle. He has developed specific processes and workflows to optimize document reviews utilizing analytic based tools, for both traditional and non-traditional review projects, such as: email and document review for corporate litigation, contract review for due diligence needs, environmental reports for administrative record management, and internal document retention for compliance related needs.
Kristen Johnson-MachiedoManaging Director
Ms. Johnson is a managing director with more than 20 years of litigation experience, both in in-house law firm environments as well as e-discovery/review staffing consulting. Over her career, Ms. Johnson’s experience has included assisting with some of the largest U.S. and international matters, including but not limited to: Big Pharma IP/Patent Litigations, Class Actions, SEC Investigations, Fortune 100 Corporate Litigation, Second Requests, and multi-country FCPA Investigations, just to name a few. With the advantage of both in-house law firm experience as well as consulting side, she has been uniquely positioned to best address client’s concerns and needs, with their best interests always as focal point.
